Every day we’re bombarded with blog articles. Right now as I look in Google Reader, I see that I have over 400 unread blog posts from sites that I highly respect. But many of these I’ll only skim through as I search out the ones that really hold the most value for me. I’m a busy man. I can’t read 400+ blog articles.

But somehow as I’ve plodded through my reader, there have been a few…and only a few…that have really knocked me off my feet. Every once in a while I’m faced with a startling truth that just demands that I stand back, pause, and think about it for a bit.

Today let me share with you 7 of these articles. These aren’t your typical blog posts. Read these posts. Seriously, read them. They’ll change the way that you look at life.

Thanks! it looks like i have some reading to do! I guess i lack inspiration trying to figure out the nuts and bolts of the net. hmm, that’s the opposite of how i run my interior design company, i guess i needed a 10000 foot view. thanks

    • Nicholas Cardot says:

Brandon Cox » You shouldn’t be humbled. Your material is exactly what people need to be focusing on. Blogging unselfishly? That needs to be beat into the brains of every blogger alive. We’ve got to start caring about people and not just using people to make a sale or an adsense click.

  • Ileane says:

I love Brandon’s blog and I’ll take a look at a few of the others. Hey, did Seth open up his blog to comments yet? Probably not, will I read his post? Probably not…

Thanks for the links Nicholas! .-= My Latest Blog Post: Say Goodbye to Family, Friends and A Good Night’s Sleep! =-.

    • Nicholas Cardot says:

Ileane » That’s really too bad as Seth’s article is my personal favorite of the collection. His take on online business is completely what I strive for and believe in. I mean no offense to the authors of the other articles, but Seth’s article is awesome. All of them are great but his really stands out. Don’t cut yourself short just because he doesn’t offer comments.

Lol, that dead tweet bird under the “10 reasons why your site doesn’t attract links” really made me laugh.

Not that I like death or dead animals, god no, but it is really provocative and the picture made me visit the blog post. .-= My Latest Blog Post: The Internet Marketing Dictionary =-.

    • Nicholas Cardot says:

Davor Gasparevic @ Internet marketing ebooks » That’s cool. There’s nothing wrong with it. I chose that image for a reason. It stood out in my mind also. It is eye catching.

      • Davor Gasparevic @ Internet marketing ebooks says:

Yes, now I quickly scanned the post again, and it really IS eye catching. Images are really something that I think will have more and more impact on advertising, marketing and promoting in the future, especially now with Google Goggles “on the block” and the advent of facebook, twitter and social bookmarking sites and networks.

I try to have at least some picture in my blog.

        • Nicholas Cardot says:

Davor Gasparevic @ Internet marketing ebooks » You’re right. You’ll notice that I have at a minimum one image in every post and more in most posts. It adds flavor especially if you can find an image that’s really spectacular.

          • Davor Gasparevic @ Internet marketing ebooks says:

Yea, really, you DO! How much time does it usually take you to find those pictures? And where do you search for them? Google Images or somewhere else?

Sorry to ask these questions, maybe I bother you, but I realized you are willing to help with suggestions, so I naturally tend to ask you more and more :D! .-= My Latest Blog Post: Free Press Release Review =-.
