Thanksgiving Day $50 Giveaway Extravaganza

News and Updates at Site Sketch 101
DiggThis

A few days ago, I announced that I was giving away a free 38-page sneak preview of my upcoming book, Blogging to the Third Power to anyone who would subscribe to email updates of Site Sketch 101.

In an effort to really get this free sneak peak into people’s hands, I’ve decided to give away $50 on Thanksgiving day to one random email subscriber.  To participate simply subscribe to email updates. When you do, you’ll immediately receive a free 38-page sneak preview of Blogging to the Third Power.

You won’t want to miss this powerful information. Just drop me your name and your email and I’ll send you your free 38-page sneak preview right away.

Name: Email:

When I switched from Feedburner’s email services to Aweber everyone was sent a new confirmation link in their inbox.  Those of you who have already clicked that link are already eligible for this giveaway.

Here’s the easy way to know if you’re enrolled.  Have I emailed you a copy of my book yet?  If not, then you’re not in the raffle.  So drop your name and email, win some cash, and build an amazing website.

Also, if you’ve received this post as an email then you’re in the drawing.  Thanks for subscribing and good luck.

Happy Thanksgiving.

This sounds like a cool contest!

But, can there possibly be a different way of entering later contests? Because I’m already subscribed to the RSS feed, but you can’t really find out who’s subscribed.

Maybe we could enter by commenting on a post. This seems to be what a lot of other blogs are doing.

Eric B. –> There sure will. In fact, during our Christmas contest you will have many different ways to enter the contest. The main reason I’m running this contest right now is to expose as many people as I can to my book and to get more people on my email list so that when I launch my book, I’ll have some contacts that I can let know about it. This way people can purchase it or better yet become an affiliate and sell it at their own websites or blogs.

Nick’s doing it this way so he can expose more people to his content: if he just asks them to leave a comment, people will just come, leave a comment, and likely not read any of the stuff here.

But if he asks them to subscribe, then the people will much more likely become regular readers here.

So, I’m gonna retweet this away now!

Robomaster –> That’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m not trying to be shady or anything but I do believe that it’s a terrific way to encourage people to become regular readers here. I certainly want to help as many people find this content as I possibly can.
