Our Email Updates Could Win You $75

News and Updates at Site Sketch 101
DiggThis

Last week I announced that I would be giving away $75 to one randomly selected person who is subscribed to our email updates. Since that time a lot of people have been pouncing on this opportunity.

We have also installed a counter at the top of each page to display the number of people who have subscribed to our site. This counter updates daily. Unfortunately, I can’t display the number of just email subscribers, but rather I have displayed the number of total subscribers including both email and rss.

Right now my email subscribers make up about two-thirds of my total subscribers, so your chances of winning are still incredibly high. They are way higher than your chances of winning $75 in the lottery and these chances cost a whole lot less!

I’ve noticed that a lot of people have entered an email address into the form have failed to click on the confirmation link inside the confirmation email. This confirmation email is used to prove that you are not simply typing in some random email address like a spam bot might do. At the conclusion of the contest, I will be deleting all the email addresses that were not confirmed and they will not be counted as entries into the contest. You must confirm your email address in order to be counted for the $75 give away!

Nearly every day I post articles that are filled with my personal experiences and advice on blogging, design, inspiration, resources, and more. Right now you have the opportunity to win $75 just for subscribing to receive those articles in your email inbox.

For more information about this contest and for the official rules and ‘fine’ print please see this post: The Great $75 Giveaway.

common people … say something .

give nicholas a shout , cheer him on , show your interest , give a suggestion . after all he is doing a decent , good thing for you .

you get the excitement of a contest , the closeness of a small community and you could get 2 months of shared hosting on a good host with that cash … and if you’re smart in those 2 months you might even make 100-200 bucks . and after that you have another couple of months with a virtual server … and in no time you might be making thousands of dollars a month .

and all of this from just $75 .

    think big picture here .

    good stuff nicholas .

nelson ยป Thanks Nelson. One of the best things that you can do for a blogger is to leave comments and feedback on his blog. I appreciate it. I also remember that I have to be very patient. This blog is still so brand new that many people have not yet been exposed to it. As the visitors grow, I’m sure the comments will grow as well. One of the most important things with a new blog is to simply stay with it and not get discouraged. I’ll probably be writing some articles about that in the very near future. Thanks Nelson!
