They are surely great themes to attract readers for your blog or site in the beginning stages. But since they are very cheap, many people currently have them.
So, I would recommend getting a new theme that really applies to your blog and is easily customizable so its original. But, elegant themes does help out beginners, so you should try them out.

Last month I was looking at Elegant Themes and the Corporation one wasn’t out yet, it is very similar Brian Gardner theme I was also looking at…. will have to consider it.
The big question for me is always, how easy is it to customize without being a great coder?

I like the design on “OnTheGo”, looks great! With that price, it’s really worth it, but I’m currently using a paid wordpress theme as well which is Thesis, so I’m not going to switch my theme in short period.

Up to this stage I’ve been using themeforest.net, which is pretty good, but not the “bang for your buck” like Elegant Themes.

Trying to find a free theme these days that isn’t loaded with dubious base64 encoded scripts to plant keyword building links to other websites seems near impossible. $20 for an all you can eat theme buffet would be well worth it.
