It seems to me that this service is not so much about writing out compliant code but is more so directed at efficiently splicing your .psd in a way that will allow efficient structured coding.

For example, I could create a psd myself, and I could code it all myself as well. Splicing however is something that always leaves me a bit confused. Knowing where to splice and how many pieces to make out of an element is just a pain.

So the way I see it is that if you are proficient enough to write your own code, but not splice the image then this type of service can be very useful.

That’s my 2 cents worth.

be careful with these psd to html website creators.. this one sounds ok, but MOST of them just hack together a website and call it done. They are horribly coded and not standard compliant by any means. At least this one seems to use some CSS and real coding.. but still – be careful.

There is generally a reason why a “real developer” is more expensive than a PSD to HTML guy.. because a real developer really builds your website from the group up the right way.

You can still submit a psd for your layout.. but instead of just splicing it, they actually code a real website to make it look like it was just spliced
