In an effort to continue accelerating the growth of this website, I’ve decided to give away 3 prizes to 5 random winners here at Site Sketch 101: A one-year membership at Elegant Themes, a copy of Darren Rowse’s Problogger: The Book, and $15 cold, hard cash! If you’re one of the five winners then you get to choose which one you want!
All you have to do in order to get in on this great giveaway is to subscribe to our site’s updates via email. Simply click on the ‘email’ link at the top of Site Sketch 101 and enter your email address. A confirmation email will immediately be sent to you and in order to qualify for this giveaway you must click on the confirmation link inside of that email.
Simply put, subscribe to our updates by email and you could win a great prize!

7 days from today, on August 18, 2009, at 11:59 PM this contest will end. I will then randomly select five subscribers to each receive one of these three prizes! You could very easily be a winner so don’t miss out on this great opportunity!
How to Enter This Contest:
Through 8/18/09, at 11:59 p.m. (ET), go to http://www.sitesketch101.com and click the subscribe by email icon at the top right of the page. Subscribe and confirm by email to receive the updates here at Site Sketch 101. Winner Selection: Five (5) winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all active, confirmed email subscribers who are subscribed prior to the previously mentioned end of competition. Drawing will be conducted by Nicholas Z. Cardot, whose decisions are final. Odds of winning will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received. Winners will be announced via the blog following the completion of this giveaway and they will have 7 days following the end of the contest to claim their prizes.

Are the email updates different then what I receive in the RSS feed?

Bruce » They are the same. It’s just a different way to receive them. I can’t track who is or is not subscribed to the RSS but I can track the emails that are subscribed so when I do a contest I can only include the Email updates in the contest. I believe that the more ways that we can get our content to our readers the more effective we can be. I hope that answers your questions and answers why I am running the contest like this.
