A Personal Message From Nicholas Cardot

In case you hadn’t already heard, I’m a full-time soldier in the United States Army.  I’m an Infantryman and this week I’ll be in the field doing battle training exercises with my unit.

I’m going to be completely cut off from everything including my laptop and cell phone.  I will have no contact with anyone on the outside.

In an effort to keep delivering great content to each of you as you work to improve your websites and blogs, I’ve already written articles and scheduled them to go live for each day of the week.

I won’t, however, be able to answer comments the way that I like to so I want to ask you all for a special favor.  Interact with each other.  Share your opinions about each others comments and learn from each other around the material here.

I don’t want the learning and growing to stop just because I’m away for a few days.  I don’t want the community feel, the togetherness or the collaboration to end while I’m away.  Let’s draw together and help each other grow even more.

Respond to others who leave comments.  Share your experiences.  Give me something amazing to come back to.  Give me a real community of people working to help each other out.

Thanks in advance for all the support and for the fantastic level of help that you all always provide to me.  I can’t wait to be back with you again.

Mary E. Ulrich –> Thank you so much. Everything went great. We had a lot of fun and shot about 50,000 rounds of NATO 5.56 ammunition. At the end, we were just firing weapons non-stop taking down targets. It was great.

There will be more interactions this week than before. I am sure about it. For every blogger, it may happen once in a while that they should stay away from these things, either for personal reason or something else. But, its glad to know that you have scheduled the posts and we still get your posts all the time.

    Nicholas,
Thanks so much for defending the freedoms that my family enjoys each and every day.
My father served 9 years in the Army but chose not to re-enlist after I was born. He would have gone to Vietnam during the war if he had. I have elected a different route in life but always maintain a special place in my heart for our service men and women.
    Again, thanks for your service.
