Awesome! I recognized the first one from PSDrockstar.com- pretty neat! I really like several of these, and there are certain parts of each one that make for good inspiration and thought stimulation.
Thanks for compiling them!

Nice themes.
I use the theme soulvision.
You can see the demo here:

Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Chris Cline » Thanks for adding that one. There are a lot out there and I’m going to be working hard to find the absolute best so that I can continue to put together lists like this.
nelson » I’m excited to learn that you’ve added this to your daily list of blogs that you stop at. That’s really cool. Thanks for the compliments on the theme. I really, really like it also. I am, of course, continually tweaking it to suit my personal tastes, but I plan on keeping this theme for a good long time. On one of my previous sites, I went through a stage where I was redesigning it every two months or so. That was not good. I lost a lot of followers there. My general rule now is that it shouldn’t be switched more than once a year. With this in mind, I make sure that it is excellent before I apply it because I have to remember that I’ll be stuck with it for a while. And if the theme is working and I haven’t found one that is AMAZING, then I’ll probably keep it longer than a year. But I really like this one because it goes with my “Sketch” theme as it kind of has a paper canvas with texture feel which is what really drew me to it.
See, now I’m talking a lot!

lol @chris ( not at you of course , with you ) … i was just about to recommend the same theme .
good call . great theme .
nelson said:
and of course … sitesketch101′s theme … which is fabulous . not free … but it’s the reason i stuck around enough to read the articles and become a daily visitor .
excellent theme . don’t change it . it’s one of the best themes i’ve seen ( and i’ve travelled through a lot of design/blogging blogs ) .
p.s. sorry for the double post .
nelson said:
yeah … it’s generally a good idea to keep a theme . it gives a feeling of steadiness that readers … well .. that’s a good thing .
and when it comes to changing it … a good advice is to do a little asking before a change . worst case scenario get a screenshot of the future theme and post it , show it to your audience . get their opinion as well .
after all … blogging is not just about the writer … it’s a lot about readers .
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
nelson » You are exactly right. Blogs are about the readers. The more that you can cater to their tastes the more successful you will be! I like your idea of asking with a screenshot as well. Great input on that!

Hi nice share!!! thank you!
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Minisite Design » I’m glad you liked it. Thanks!
Satkrit said:
Nice collection. Especially liked the third one. Does my commenting a lot bother you. Just tell me and I will comment less.
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Satkrit » Comments are the life-blood of this blog. I love getting comments. Every time that I get one it makes me feel like a little kid with a new toy. Plus at least your not spamming. Spamming is like short little comments that don’t really say anything. As long as someone is actually adding to the conversation then I’m thrilled about it.

from your list, i think Impress is the best.

Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
insicdesigns » Absolutely! You’re welcome! I really like that theme and I’m considering using it on one of my future projects. I already have a project in mind that I might use it on. Thanks for putting it together!
Arisu said:
Woah! Amazing collection!
I only knew and loved Notepad chaos, but they´re all awesome. And some are great for corporative/business like blogs. Those are hard to find, just like nice sans-serif fonts.
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Arisu » Great. It is hard to find really nice free WordPress templates so when I come across some good ones, I like to take the time to share them with everyone that I know.

Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Zábavná videa –> Great! I’m glad that you like it.
R.W. Jackson said:
Thanks Nick. Great themes. One issue I tried to click on the demo of a few of the top listed and it came up forbidden, probably not anything to do with your site, but I thought you might want to check it out.
~R.W.
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
R.W. Jackson –> Thanks for letting me know about that. I guess their site considered these links as hotlinking so I have each of the images above now linked to their respective download pages.
Mukund said:
I just love all those word press themes!!! Wonderful! I would like to know which of these are converted to blogger? It will be really helpful if you could do an analysis on this..
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Mukund –> I don’t even now how to check that. I guess just visit the ones you like and see if they have it for other platforms. Sorry that I can’t help you more.
Ron Boracay said:
Although some of this themes are converted into blogger theme, I think it is still best to use them for wordpress. Because they are made for wordpress.
Mukund said:
You are right! I am planning to change my domain now. Mostly shift to wordpress. Use wordpress for some time and later on, change to a domain of my own as Nicholas adviced me too!
Ron Boracay said:
Mukund –> No need to change your domain while shifting to wordpress platform. It can kill your ranking and authority.
Just a redirect or I think changing some server side script will do the job.
Mukund said:
Hmmm.. Can you get some more details about this? I mean redirecting from blogger to some other domain? It will be really very helpful to me!!
Ron Boracay said:
I am not an expert about that thing, But I think, a server redirect (301 or 302) I think will do the job.
Mukund said:
Hmmm!! Thanks Ron! But, can I get a detailed information about this? I am planning to change to my custom domain. At the same time, I don’t want to lose my PR and backlinks! Any help will be appreciated!!
ZXT said:
Ron, Mukund is using a Blogger for his blog. I am also curious on how can he not change his domain if he wants to use WordPress theme and WordPress CMS?
Also I think Mukund is trying to get his own domain name, that means for him to be able to use that domain, his links would be totally different now.
Mukund said:
You are absolutely right! I don’t think without changing my domain name, I will be able to use the wordpress plugings. But Ron said there is a way to redirect URL’s. If that is possible, then I can get create a blog in wordpress. Else, will go in for my own domain and even for that I need a server redirect. Hope Ron got me! And even you ZXT!!
Ron Boracay said:
Oh ok, I though he is just saying migrating from Blogspot to wordpress. If this is a new domain, then you will start from scratch definitely. Unless you buy an old and existing domain. You may benefit from its old backlinks or pr (or maybe not).
Mukund said:
Yes Ron! But I always prefer to start with a new domain. I should start from the scratch. I know it! I am saving money for hosting on a custom domain. Soon, I will!!
Pinaybackpacker said:
Thank you so much Nick for these great finds!
Now I’m rally tempted to change my them again. I just changed it last July.
So far, Premium News is the one that appeals to me the most.
The other ones are great, too, but I find it too difficult to read if the background is too dark. So, I’ll stick with a light-colored one.
Nicholas Z. Cardot said:
Pinaybackpacker –> There are some really good themes available. You just have to find the one that’s right for you.
ZXT said:
Too many changes will get you confuse and you may not fully utilize your themes options. But if you think theres really a good theme that came up then yes change it by all means.

Thanks very much for this.
I personally love themes that are pretending to be 3D so like your theme Nicholas, and the Color Paper.
will have to think carefully about changing theme in the future as I think mine has too many rotating images.
Nicholas Cardot said:
Jean –> Thanks. I’ve spent a lot of time getting my site to look how it looks today. Thanks for the praise on it.
